Kaboo is a testimony to the life of a young African boy at the turn of the 19th century. He was a prince who became a slave and then miraculously escaped and was eventually converted at a Christian mission in Liberia. He eventually made it to America. Wheaton College mission program grew out of his experience there. Each chapter has a vocabulary review and comprehension questions. At the end there is a call for a decision by the reader to choose Kaboo’s God or continue to follow Satan. This is an excellent resource for teens and young adults.

This is one of those books that you don't want to put down. The story is so sad but you are anxious to find out what happened next.

You will cry all the way through it. A powerful testimony to the faithfulness of God.
