Village of Hope is an outreach ministry of House of Hope Ministries, Inc. The village is located at 603 W. Mckown St. in Buffalo, Missouri. The vision is to provide transition housing to people trying to get themselves established, offering a hand up rather than a hand-out.
Village of Hope is a drug and alcohol free community. It is being built by donations and volunteer labor. Three Tiny Homes are under construction. Plans are that the first Tiny Home will be ready for occupancy in the spring of 2022.
Future residents will be expected to have jobs, or a reliable source of income, participate in self-help classes, share in lawn and garden maintenance and keep their homes neat and orderly at all times. All buildings will be a smoke free environment.
